Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2 is one of the much-anticipated movies of the year. But it seems that movie os  in a lot of trouble. Reports doing the rounds are that Shankar has gotten into a huge fight with Lyca Productions over budget issues.

As per reports, the production house wants Shankar to stick to the budget but the director is known for being extravagant and spend a lot of money on his films. In fact, his last film, 2.0, was made on a budget of Rs. 543 crores. He teamed up with Kamal after 23 years for Indian 2. Reports also suggest that the film might get shelved. The production house don’t want to spend a lot of money on this film. Apparently, the director and the producer have had fallout because of this and it has resulted in the director looking for other investors in the Telugu or Hindi space.

Talknig about the film, First schedule of the film has been completed last month and the shoot for the second schedule went on floors recently. However official confirmation about the same is yet to come.

Talking about the film, sequel to the 1996 film Indian, the film is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions.The film has Kajal Aggarwal and Siddharth playing important roles.
