Bhopal: To prevent the Congress government in Madhya Pradesh from facing any future problem, CM Kamal Nath has devised a formula to remove the quota ministers of key leaders so that minister post can be given to non-Congress MLAs supporting the government

Kamal Nath has also written a letter to Sonia Gandhi, chairman of the Joint Resolution Coalition (UPA), to allow it. The Congress has not won an absolute majority in the state. The Kamal Nath government of the Congress is running with the support of BSP, Samajwadi Party (SP) and Independents. On the other hand, BJP leaders are constantly making rhetoric and calling for the government to be toppled. One of the reasons for this has been the intermittent resentment of the MLAs supporting the government.

There are a total of 28 ministers in the state government. It consists of 10 ministers from Kamal Nath quota and seven ministers from former CM Digvijay Singh and former MP Jyotiraditya Scindia. While six more members can be added to the cabinet, Kamal Nath wants to reduce the number of ministers in the quota of leaders instead of filling up the vacant posts.
