Kamal Nath on viral video clarifies, "Was only trying to warn public of RSS, BJP's disruptive politics"

BHOPAL: leading Congress leader and its Madhya Pradesh unit head Kamal Nath has clarified over his viral video, asserting that he was only trying to make people alert of the BJP and RSS's troublesome politics.

The Congress veteran stated that he told the Muslim clerics to keep up communal harmony till the November 28 polls, warning them to stay cautious of efforts from the BJP and the RSS to upset the same.

Nath has landed into a controversy in the poll-bound state after the BJP shared a video in which he could be seen telling a public meeting of Muslim clerics to tolerate with the RSS` tactics till the election-day, following which the Congress will "deal with them."

The BJP had targeted the Congress over the video, alleging that the latter's pro-Hindu attitude is a 'facade' and that the party considers in "divide and rule" via conciliation politics.

The BJP lead state will go to polls to elect legislators for its 230 constituencies on November 28, 2018. Crucial Polls Results will be declared on December 11.

He also stated that it is wrong to believe that the RSS has the dependability of the whole Hindu community.
