Kamal Nath government accepts 4 demands of medical teachers, decision of mass resignation postponed

Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Medical Teachers Association has now postponed its collective resignation decision after four out of 10 demands have been accepted. On September 17, medical teachers working in 13 medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh Medical Teachers Association agitated to resolve their 10-point demands pending for several days. The association then announced a collective resignation on September 30 if its demands were not met.

CM Kamal Nath took the teachers' demands seriously and Madhya Pradesh Medical Teachers Association MLA Sunil and Congress spokesperson Syed Jafar, who was responsible for coordinating the staff organizations, had a meeting with officials in the CM office in the mediation. In this meeting, four demands of medical teachers were accepted.

According to Syed Jafar, four demands have been accepted in the meeting and on behalf of the department, medical teachers will be given 'Group Insurance Scheme, Compassionate Appointment, Gratuity and M.T.A. Orders have been issued to nominate the Chairman and Secretary of the special invitee to the General Council of the autonomous body. Giving information, Congress spokesperson Jafar has told that in the coming days, CM Kamal Nath will meet the delegation of the Medical Teachers Association of 13 medical colleges.
