Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee chief (PCC) and former CM of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath honored the freedom fighters on the anniversary of Quit India Movement. During this time, Kamal Nath lashed out at the BJP government. He said that today we take a pledge that we will protect this constitution and will not let the foundation of democracy weaken, only then we can honor freedom fighters.

While addressing during the program, veteran Congress leader Kamal Nath said that today we have gathered here, to remember those whose sacrifices we have stood here. On this day, on 9 August 1942, the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, had raised the Quit India Movement. In this movement, people of all society, religion, class joined and the British rule was overthrown.

Kamal Nath further said that equal rights have been given to all classes in our constitution. After all these years, the constitution has declined significantly. The constitution-makers never thought that at one time there would be such a decline in the constitution. During this, former Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath also appealed to the youth to protect the Constitution.
