Actress Kamya Punjabi, who plays the character in TV's famous serial Shakti, has entertained the audience a lot. Now she has made a short film called "Why Not Daughters?". Directed by Kamya's ex Husband Bunty. She has spoken to a media reporter about this short film. She said, "This short film is on girl child and daughters but my point here is that even today there is discrimination in society between son and daughter.'

She added, "I want to tell the truth to the society that even today we may say that daughter and son are one, but people give priority to son only." Kamya told," I made a short film from my experiences. My personal experience is there. I have seen that even today people ask girls to be patient, do not shout and talk, and there are many small things that we still make a difference between a girl and a boy."

Kamya further said, "Through this film, I want to show the small differences between boy and girl even today and what passes on girls." She told that this short film was shot long before the lockdown. In addition, it has been shot in Himachal, like a film in which everyone has worked hard. The director of this film is her ex husband Bunty. This short film has been released on YouTube and Kamya is very excited about this.
