The Peace and Harmony Committee of the Delhi Assembly has issued summons against actress Kangana  Ranaut. Kangana was asked by the committee to appear before it at 12.00 pm on December 6, though Kangana did not appear. In fact, the summons have been issued against Kangana for her unpleasant and derogatory remarks on sikh society and the Assembly Peace and Harmony Committee is headed by Aam Aadmi Party MLA Raghav Chadha. It has now been reported that actor Kangana Ranaut will not be able to appear before the Peace and Harmony Committee of the Delhi Assembly  today.

Tell all of you that Kangana has sought some more time from the Assembly Committee. On the other hand, aam aadmi party MLA Raghav Chadha has informed about the same. Let me tell you all that recently the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee had lodged a police complaint against actress Kangana Ranaut for allegedly making objectionable remarks against the Sikh community on Instagram. The complaint is said to have accused actress Kangana Ranaut of spreading false rumours on the Sikh community through social media. After all this, actress Kangana was summoned by the Peace and Harmony Committee of the Delhi Assembly.

Kangana was asked by the committee to appear before it at 12.00 pm on December 6 in the summons sent. Now, says Raghav Chadha, chairman of the committee and AAM Aadmi Party MLA, "Kangana Ranaut's lawyer has written a letter informing her that Kangana cannot come today due to some personal and peseshwar reasons. Kangana has sought a few weeks time, today's meeting has been postponed and on her request the committee will take its decision and inform her. '
