Kangana uploaded images of herself on Sunday wearing a vibrant lehenga, the headpiece enhancing the regal appearance. She has since clarified that she did not wear a "crown," but rather a piece of traditional Indian jewelry.

On Sunday, the Tanu Weds Manu Returns star shared pics from her regal photoshoot, where she had worn a royal headpiece. The traditional piece on her head instantly grabbed the eyeballs of the netizens and some of them called it a crown.

Reacting to a news portal which called it a crown, Kangana tweeted on Monday, “It’s not a crown it’s a traditional Indian jewel… very popular in Punjab and Himachal… in Punjab it’s known as Saggi phool and Himachal it’s a variation of chakk… even Indians don’t know about their heritage especially these embarrassing jurnos …”

Sharing the regal look on Instagram, Kangana wrote, “You don’t choose your dreams … they choose you … trust and take that leap.”

Similar images of Punjabi women wearing saggi were also shared by her on Instagram Stories, along with the caption "Traditional Saggi Phool in Punjab." She posted a another image of a woman wearing a hat with the comment, "Various headgears in Himachal."

The National Award-winning actress has major roles in films like Emergency, Chandramukhi 2, and Tejas to her credit. Speaking of Emergency, it was made under Kangana Ranaut's direction and also stars Shreyas Talpade, Anupam Kher, and other notable actors. On the other hand, Raghava Lawrence plays the protagonist in Chandramukhi 2, the follow-up to Rajinikanth's popular sequel Chandramukhi.
