Bollywood film actress Kangana Ranaut and the controversy are in a deep connection. It seems the two complement each other. Kangana had recently surprised everyone by making a controversial statement on independence. After her statement, many users on the political corridors as well as social media have followed her. She took to Instagram to clarify her statement with a story. In fact, in one of her interviews, Kangana Ranaut had said that we have got freedom in begging. Since then, there has been a lot of controversies. Her statement is being criticised everywhere. At many places, FIRs have also been registered against her. Many political parties say she should be prosecuted for treason.
Kangana has justified her statement by putting up a long Instagram story amidst the constant controversy that is now taking place. She has written that she will return her Padma Shri honour if someone tells her what happened in 1947. She has put up a picture of a cutting and wrote that everything is clearly mentioned. The first battle was fought in 1857, in which many great spirits got martyred like Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Laxmi Bai and Veer Savarkar Ji. I know which battle was fought in 1947, I am not aware of it.
Kangana further wrote that I have worked in a movie on Rani Laxmi Bai. She has done a lot of research on the revolution of 1857. Nationalism was accompanied by the rise of the right, but how did it suddenly disappear? And why did Gandhi let Bhagat Singh die? After all, why was Leader Bose killed and why he did not get Gandhiji's support? Why the Line of Partition was drawn by Britishers? The Indians were killing each other instead of celebrating their freedom. I need answers to all these questions which I need help with. Kangana has posted a long wide post and has written a lot of things. She said in the same interview that the country got independence in 2014. Since then all political parties have been attacking Kangana. Parties like Aam Aadmi Party and Shiv Sena are demanding that a sedition case be registered against her.
