Noted entertainment actress Kangana Ranaut's 'Thalaivii,' Based on former Tamil Nadu CM J. Jayalalithaa's life, was released yesterday on September 10 and now a new controversy has arisen over the movie. After the release of the movie, AIADMK leader and former Minister D. Jayakumar said some facts are not given correctly in Jayalalithaa's biopic.

The same was directed by AL Vijay and starring Arvind Swamy, Jayakumar watched it at a theatre in Chennai on Friday. Talking to reporters after watching the movie here, Jayakumar said that though the film has been made very well, some of the scenes have been shot on former CM Jayalalithaa and AIADMK founder and leader late MG Ramachandran is not correct.

There is a scene in the film where MG Ramachandran demands to become CM in the first government of the DMK party led by CN Annadurai. Jayakumar spoke about the scene that MGR had never demanded to get the place. According to reports, Jayakumar said Annadurai wanted MGR to become a minister, but he himself refused and then later made him deputy chief of the small savings department, a new post. When Annadurai passed away in 1969, it was MGR who proposed Karunanidhi's name to make him CM.
