Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut, who brought former Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa's character to life on the film screen through the film 'Thalaivi', will play the role of lord Sita in her next film. Kangana Ranaut has released her first look poster titled 'The Incarnation – SITA' while announcing her next film. The film will be directed by Alokik Desai.
Kangana Ranaut further said that she feels very energetic about playing the character with a team of talented people. She wrote that with the blessings of Lord Ram and Mother Sita, the new project is going to be launched. Kangana Ranaut wrote 'Jai Siyaram' and shared the details about the new film through Instagram. Director Desai said that after this film, our attitude to seeing our ancient literature will change.
Saloni Sharma will produce the film. She said that as a woman, she is very happy to welcome Kangana Ranaut in this big VFX film. He said Kangana Ranaut showcases the qualities of an Indian woman – fearless, courageous and brave. The story of the film will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad who has also written 'Manikarnika' and 'Thalaivi'. Kangana Ranaut will also be seen in 'Tejas'. Earlier, there were reports that Kareena Kapoor was going to play Mother Sita but Kangana's post has put an end to all those speculations.
