SP Poonam of Lakhimpur Kheri told the media, 'Nepal border has been alerted about Vikas Dubey. There is a 120 km border with Nepal, there are four police stations, the picture of Vikas has been pasted everywhere, the SSB officials have been talked to. Soldiers are alert on the border of the district and investigation is being done.

Police has taken many people in custody on the basis of mobile call detail, which is being questioned. These are all those people who talked to Vikas Dubey in the last 24 hours. The number of people who talk about Vikas also includes the numbers of some policemen. Therefore, it is also being feared that when the police team went out for questioning Vikas Dubey, someone gave this information on the phone in advance.
