Lucknow: On Friday, 8 policemen were killed in a major encounter in Kanpur on Friday, soon after which the police intensified their investigation. While Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has issued an order to arrest History Sheeter Vikas Dubey and his associates at the earliest. DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has announced that he will send the main accused in 48 hours to apprehend the main accused. UP police is raiding in search of Vikas Dubey, who has become the most wanted for the last 24 hours. Vikas Dubey, accused of firing on 8 policemen, has been sitting since the incident. According to the information received, a police officer of Chaubepur police station informed Vikas about the police raid.

According to the information received, about 20 teams of police have conducted raids in different districts. These include relatives and acquaintances of Vikas Dubey. UP police has taken 12 more people into custody and are being questioned in this case. Police have detained these people on the basis of mobile call detail. In the last 24 hours, these people have talked to Vikas Dubey. The most surprising thing is that some policemen's numbers have also been found in the call detail of Vikas's phone.

According to the information received so far, it has been revealed in the investigation of the police that one of the police officer of Chaubepur police station informed Vikas Dubey about the police raid. A constable, a soldier, and a home guard have come under suspicion of the police. All three are being questioned on the basis of call details. Significantly, on Friday, a bloody encounter took place between the police and Vikas Dubey gang in Bichru village adjacent to Kanpur. In this, colleagues of Vikas ambushed and fired indiscriminately, in which 8 policemen were martyred. Two gang miscreants have also been killed in this encounter.
