The matter of different decisions of the Uttar Pradesh Uttarakhand government on the Kanwar yatra has reached the Supreme Court. Now, in view of this, Shiv Sena has hit out at BJP. In fact, recently, Shiv Sena has targeted BJP through its mouthpiece Saamna. Shiv Sena in an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamna wrote, "CM Yogi Adityanath approved the 'Kanwar Yatra' even after the third wave of the corona was threatened. The Supreme Court has reprimanded the Uttar Pradesh government for this. The Kanwar Yatra is a matter of reverence for Hindus, it is accepted, but from the Kumbh Mela to the Kanwar Yatra, there is an influx of crowd, in that flood only the bodies of the devotees are seen flowing.''

Let me tell you that earlier, Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Jai Pratap Singh had said that the Covid-19 Protocol as well as the Supreme Court guidelines in the matter will be strictly followed in the Kanwar Yatra starting in the state on July 25. On the other hand, the Supreme Court has taken suo motu cognizance of the news of the Uttar Pradesh government allowing Kanwar yatra during the Covid-19 epidemic.

The same Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna also says, "Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami decided to cancel the Kanwar Yatra, it is his experience of wisdom, so is Dhami anti-Hindu? Drive Dhami away with such an allegation, is anyone going to make such a demand?'' The editorial also claims that 3.5 crore people had gone to Haridwar for the 2019 Kanwar yatra. At the same time, 2 to 3 crore people had reached various pilgrimage sites in Uttar Pradesh to mark the yatra. This time too, a similar crowd will gather, not only is it corona, but the violation of restrictions will also create a law and order problem. Further, they said, "Prime Minister Modi has warned people to be vigilant in the context of the third wave of the corona. The Supreme Court has to say this again and again. The Prime Minister is saying that even then the BJP leaders of Maharashtra are not befalling to their senses.''
