Kanwaljeet was working in the web series Sandwich and Kanwaljeet now says that a young actor has now been cast in the Sandwich web series for his role. Kanwaljeet is not happy with the rules of the Maharashtra government made in the Corona era. In a conversation with media, he expressed his displeasure and said, 'Then what should actors like me do? How can I be denied work? I have no problem with that young actor and channel but this rule should be changed. Otherwise, what will hundreds of actors like me do? We like to work, we love our work, why is the government preventing us from doing so?"

He said, "Will the authorities take any step in this regard when a senior actor will go into depression and suicide due to lack of work? There are many such senior actors and unit members. Those who do not have the capacity to sit at home in this difficult time. For some to run home, some have to work. Not only Kanwaljeet but also the actor Prithvi Zutshi will have to leave the show 'Pyar ki Luka Chuppi'.
