Even though Kanye West and Kim Kardashian split up a while ago, the Grammy-winning artist seems to still be in love with her. Ye revealed on Instagram Stories that he was devastated over his separation from the star of The Kardashians, equating it to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen passed away peacefully on September 8 at the age of 96.

Kanye West said on Instagram, "LONDON I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL I LOST MY QUEEN TOO," in a clear message to the people of the UK, who are still grieving the passing of their beloved queen. Fans think that Ye, a 45-year-old rapper, was in fact referring to Kim Kardashian, a 41-year-old reality star and entrepreneur, even though the musician didn't use the reality star's name specifically. Interestingly, Kanye West's statement regarding the passing of Queen Elizabeth II doesn't seem all that shocking given that the rapper from Heartless is now in London and even attended Burberry's Spring 2023 Collection.

Ye was spotted there hanging out backstage with people including Irina Shayk, with whom he was romantically associated when they shared a birthday celebration last year, and Bella Hadid, a close friend of Kendall Jenner's sister Kim Kardashian.

For the uninitiated, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were married for six years and had four children together: North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3. In February 2021, Kim Kardashian requested a divorce from Kanye West. Since then, the ex-co-parenting couple's arrangements have been on-again, off-again. They have even engaged in social media fights, primarily on Ye's behalf.

Kim Kardashian not over her breakup with Pete Davidson? she is "not ready to date yet"

This was particularly evident when Kanye West allegedly repeatedly abused Pete Davidson, Kim Kardashian's ex-boyfriend, on Instagram. The Saturday Night Live veteran is said to have undergone trauma counselling to deal with Ye's "negativity" on social media. Meanwhile, Kanye West just apologised to Kim Kardashian for all the "stress" he caused her during an interview on Good Morning America, "This is the mother of my children, and I apologise for any stress that I have caused even in my frustration because God calls me to be stronger."
