North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West, the couple's four children, are co-parents with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Recently, the rapper talked about how the couple's ex-partners handle the same. Kim and Kanye have insisted that they always put their children's needs first despite their disagreements. Kanye addressed the issue in a podcast for Alo Mind.

The rapper recently shared a message promoting his Donda Academy and criticised Kim for sending their children to private schools over the same. He also discussed the connection between the two as parents and his social media posts, saying, "You get to that point everyone wants to say 'Oh, it's mental health and everybody wants you to apologize a million times."

He further added, "Everybody wants to have everyone so doped out, so controlled out, that you're not allowed to even stand up for the things that you're handing to your family. Your home is your original church. So, even to this day, I'll still give Kim advice on things that can help, because that's gonna go to the kids. She's still gotta — basically 80 per cent of the time — raise those children", via People.

In the past, Kim had likewise insisted that she wants Kanye to be involved in their children's lives, regardless of how their relationship will be following their breakup. Kardashian added that she wants her children to go to school every day and spend the mornings with their father. When discussing their connection after their divorce, Kim once said that she and Kanye will "always be family."
