Recently, a new case of crime is reported from village Bhandal where two groups fought fiercely over DJ at the wedding ceremony. As the fighting in this case escalated, the police were called and the police arrived at the same time to calm the two groups and get the DJs shut.  Alcohol-addled youth went to the house of another group at 2.30 pm and fired on the pistol and after this, a woman also got two shots.

He was admitted to the Civil Hospital Kapurthala after being shot and Inspector Ramesh Kumar of Thana Sadar said that a wedding ceremony was taking place in the village Bhandal Donan on Sunday night and the villagers were dancing on the DJ. Everyone had drunk too much in the wedding, but in the meantime, Lakhvir Kaur and her family were stopped from dancing by Hansraj, her sons Harjinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh Gopi and Anju Singh present at the wedding ceremony. After this, Lakhvir Singh got into an argument with them, which took the form of a dispute. 

Lakhvir Kaur told the police that 'at around 2:30 pm someone knocked the gate of her house. When he opened the gate, he saw Hansraj, his son Harjinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh Gopi, Anju Singh and some of his companions standing in front of him, who attacked him as soon as the gate opened. These people fired several from the pistol. Two bullets hit his arm and leg. ' In this case, the police has now started an investigation against Hansraj, Harjinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh Gopi and Anju Singh by registering cases under various sections.
