Newcomers who haven't even proved themselves at the box office are asking for Rs 20-30 crore. Then they have to show their report card that how much business their films have done.

With this, he further said, 'Instead of giving crores of rupees to a new actor, he would prefer to invest money on the technical team who really make the film special.' During this, Karan Johar questioned, 'Why is an actor given Rs 15 crores, while an editor is given only Rs 55 lakhs?'
