Karan Johar's talk show 'Koffee With Karan' is going great also his last movie was successfully hit at box office. As we reported Karan is now to judge a singing reality show, so at the launch of the show, Karan said, "I have solemnly resolved that I will be back on sets as a director next year, towards the end of the year as a filmmaker. My heart lies in television but my soul lies in films." 

Karan is all set to judge Dil Hai Hindustani, "I have covered all on television. If there are other ideas then I will see. I think the more reality shows the better. Whatever offer comes my way I will see. I can't say no to television." 

Karan believes that he is now television personality. "Now films are seeming to be an incidental part of my personality. People ask me about talk show, talent show and it's embarrassing that I have to tell people I direct and produce films as well."

He added, "The impact of television is more, three per cent of our country watch films and 25-30 per cent watch television, so it's nine times more impactful. So my wish to be on national television has only helped my brand as filmmaker. I am thankful to television for that."
