Sara Ali Khan has made her debut on small screen on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan Season 6 with her father Saif Ali Khan. On the controversial show, she talked about her bonds with her father and his gorgeous wife Kareena Kapoor Khan. For unversed Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. For Saif and Kareena's marriage, Sara opened that her mother Amrita Singh had dressed her up.  This time, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Kareena Kapoor Khan got open about her bond with Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s kids, Sara and Ibrahim. Kareena told that she is only their friend and she is there for them whenever required. She was quoted by Pink villa as saying , “I have always said this to Saif, Sara and Ibrahim that I can only be their friend, I can never be their mother because they already have an amazing mother who’s brought them up spectacularly. I’m meant to be their friend only. I love them dearly and whenever I’m wanted or my advice needed, I’m there for both at any point in their life.”

On being questioned about Sara Ali Khan’s debut in the film industry, Kareena said that she thinks Sara is a born star . She added that Sara is a good with conversations as well as acting.
