New Delhi: President Draupadi Murmu has bowed to the martyrs on Kargil Diwas today. Yes and most importantly, this is the first tweet from Murmu after assuming the highest office in the country. On this day in the year 1999, Pakistan had kneeled in front of the Indian brave soldiers.

At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also remembered the martyrs. In fact, he has tweeted, "Kargil Vijay Diwas is a symbol of the pride and glory of Maa Bharati.''
