Karisma Kapoor is all set to start her career on a digital platform with director Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Productions web series 'Mentalhood'. It is a comedy-drama series based on motherhood's insanity towards her children. In this series, actor Dino Morea can be seen in the lead role along with Karisma. Her family and friends said, "Lolo is very keen to return to the screen." She says, 'Her children have grown up." She has lost a lot of weight and has now started photographing at parties and airports. She is trying to make headlines through sister Kareena and brother-in-law Saif Ali Khan. She is getting very restless and wants to return to acting anyway, but now the opportunities are few.

Earlier, Karisma and Dino have worked together in a feature film 'Baaz: A Bird in Danger', it was very badly flopped. During the same year (2003), Karisma tried to bolster her trembling career by playing the lead role in a long-running TV series 'Karishma: The Miracles of Destiny', but it was also a huge failure.

After 9 years of marriage and two children, Karisma tried to make a comeback on the big screen with Vikram Bhatt's rebirth story 'Dangerous Ishq'. She played four roles in this film, but this attempt was also unsuccessful. Thereafter, nothing was heard from her about any plans to return to the acting world. In some interviews, it was heard from her mouth that she was considering offering various films. Now, it will be interesting to see how successful her efforts will be to return to the screen via the OTT platform, 7 years after the failure of 'Dangerous Ishq'.
