BANGALORE: In 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make his eighth trip to Karnataka, a state that will go to the polls. In preparation for the important state assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appears to be doing everything in its power.

Incidentally, this marks Prime Minister Narendra Modi's highest number of state visits in a calendar year since he assumed leadership of the Central government in 2014.

The prime minister is anticipated to take a safari trip of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve during his stay.

According to a source, "PM Modi will begin a three-day mega celebration in the districts of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar on the occasion of the completion of the Tiger Project's 50 years,"
In light of the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka on April 10, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with BJP officials and workers.

In Karnataka, political parties are ramping up their preparations for the assembly elections. On May 13, the results of the assembly elections will be announced.

With the impending Karnataka Assembly elections, the BJP is in an extremely critical position. Amit Shah is doing everything in his ability to maintain control of Bengaluru, the state that is home to the important Silicon Valley of India, as a result of Basavaraj Bommai's declining popularity and that of Narendra Modi.

According to information from the PM's official website, PM Modi and party leaders visited the state the most during election years. In 2018, a year with elections, PM Modi paid Karnataka his second-highest number of visits.
