2 lakh rupees raised by 10th standard girl students, oximeters distributed in trains

Bangalore: Two girl students of Greenwood High International School in Karnataka's capital Bengaluru collected donations to distribute oximeters to poor people. Within 24 hours, the duo deposited Rs 2 lakh. Then contact a company manufacturing oximeters. He purchased 200 oximeters from there, after which they contacted an institution engaged in social service to take these oximeters to poor families.

The school administration has also praised the work done by the girl students. An NGO called Sampark was contacted to distribute the oximeter purchased from the fund to poor families. Sampark NGO works for the welfare of the underprivileged. Sneha Raghavan and Shloka Ashok are class 10 girls at Greenwood High International School in Bengaluru.

A tweet from the school also congratulated the two girls. The tweet said that 'Sneha and Shloka helped slum families with 200 oxymeters. A fund of Rs. 2 lakh a day was deposited and handed over to the Sampark NGO to distribute the oximeters.' They are being praised all around for the work done by the two girl students.
