Leading Private sector lender Karnataka Bank on Friday held its 97th Annual General Meeting at its Head Office, Mangaluru through video conferencing in the backdrop of Covid-19 pandemic.While addressing the shareholders of Karnataka Bank at its 97th Annual General Meeting held through virtual platform, the MD and CEO of the Bank Mr. Mahabaleshwara M.S has said that “Karnataka Bank is now poised to emerge as the ‘Digital Bank of Future’.

He asserted “Powered by its IT driven wholistic transformation ‘KBL VIKAAS’, Bank is now preparing for the second phase under ‘KBL NxT’ concept so as to have end-to-end digital solutions for all its banking activities. Further, Bank is celebrating its centenary year during 2023-24 and lot of IT driven innovative and far reaching initiatives to mark the celebration are already lined up so as to lay a strong foundation for the second century of the Bank. Bank has also declared a dividend of 18percent.”
