Bangalore: Rumours about the corona vaccine are still circulating in many rural areas in Karnataka and people are afraid of vaccination due to a lack of awareness. In Karnataka, Deputy Commissioner of Chamarajnagar district MR Ravi has launched a unique initiative to promote vaccination. In fact, he said that those who do not get vaccinated will not be given rations.

Chamarajnagar district deputy commissioner MR Ravi has launched a campaign with the slogan 'No vaccination, no ration.' Under the campaign, 2.9 lakh BPL and Antyodaya cardholders will be required to take the vaccine mandatorily to avail ration facility in the district. According to the report, 28,93,715 patients have recovered in the province. Of these, 1,198 people were discharged on Tuesday, while 18,386 patients are undergoing treatment. A total of 37,318 patients have lost their lives from Covid in the state. The health department confirmed 25 death on Tuesday.
