Whereas on Saturday, the national president of Yeddyurappa's party Amit Shah had emphasized on the Hindi language, that if any language can unite the country, then it is Hindi. Opposition leaders of Karnataka have termed Shah's statement as an attempt to 'impose' Hindi on the state.
