Bengaluru: The coronavirus cases have gained momentum once again in the country. Corona patients have increased rapidly due to the negligence of people. After Maharashtra and Punjab, the number of corona patients has now increased in Karnataka too, which has begun the emphasis on professional administration. Most of the patients in Karnataka are from Bengaluru. In Karnataka, 934 new cases were registered on Sunday, out of which 628 cases have come from the capital alone, till yesterday 371 people have been discharged from the hospital. The number of corona infections in the city is 8364.

In Karnataka, CM BS Yediyurappa has convoked an emergency meeting to see the situation deteriorate. The meeting will be held in the Assembly at 5 pm this evening, which will also have health experts besides officials. This happened on 14th March after 22nd January when the number of corona patients in Karnataka has crossed 900. Seeing the situation, the experts are estimating the second wave of virus, although they just said that it is doubtful, it is not right to say anything clearly right now.

The data released by the Ministry of Health on Sunday, 25,320 new cases of corona have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the number of active cases of the corona has gone up to 1,13,59,048. During the last 24 hours, 161 people have lost their lives due to corona, after which the death toll has reached 1, 58,607.
