Bengaluru: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is keeping a close watch on every development of the Congress-JDS coalition government in Karnataka. BJP veteran leader and Union Minister D V Sadanand Gowda has said that 11 MLAs resign, saying that it is a good opportunity for mlas to come out of the party (Congress-JDS). That's why these people have resigned because they feel that the state and their constituency, which remained as MLAs, is not right.

On the question of forming a government, Sadanand Gowda has said that the Governor has the highest authority, according to the constitutional mandate, if he calls us, we are certainly fully prepared to form the government. We are the largest party in the state, we have 105 MLAs. On the other hand BJP leader GVL Narasimha Rao has reacted to the developments in Karnataka saying that the coalition government in Karnataka is a sick government. We are keeping an eye on every development. After all, the chaos that has arisen in the state has now been felt. The move of the coalition government will bring relief not only to the BJP but also to the people of the state.

Rao has said that the people of Karnataka have rejected the Congress-JDS alliance. Even after the alliance in the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won a strong mandate. This clearly looks to the mood of the people, legislators are certainly bearing the brunt of public outrage against the coalition.
