Karnataka election 2018 results live updates: The Congress leadership has interacted Ghulam Nabi Azad and KC Venugopal to talk to Janata Dal (Secular) chief Deve Gowda. The Congress is seeking possibilities of forming a government in Karnataka in case of a hung House provided JD(S) and Congress together cross the halfway mark.

In the counting of votes for Karnataka Assembly Polls 2018, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken a lead on 106 out of the total 224 seats, while the grand old party Congress 75  and JD(s) 38  while others 3 .

 As per the latest trends, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 104 seats, while the Congress is ahead in 78 seats. The Janata Dal (Secular) is at third place with 38 seats but holds the key to power.
