Karnataka Ex-CM BS Yediyurappa Accused of Sexual Assault by 17-Year-Old, Booked Under POCSO Act

Former Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, aged 81, has been accused of sexual assault by a 17-year-old. He has been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) following a complaint lodged by the teenager's mother, as per media reports.

The alleged incident occurred on February 2, 2024, when the mother and daughter sought Yediyurappa's help regarding a cheating case. This accusation has led to significant attention on the former Chief Minister's actions.
