Karnataka Government Deepens Crisis, Five Other Legislators Arrive At Supreme Court

New Delhi: The looming threat to Karnataka's Congress-JDS government may further increase. Five more rebel MLAs from Karnataka have approached the top court on Saturday. He has asked the Supreme Court to issue an order to the Assembly Speaker to accept his resignation. The five rebel MLAs include Sudhakar Roshan Beg, MTV Nagaraj, Muni Ratna and Anand Singh.

Rebel MLAs say that Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar is violating the fundamental rights of the MLAs. In addition, legislators are being threatened to support the coalition government. They are being told to support the government or they will be disqualified. Legislators say that any elected member of the Legislature is fully in charge of resigning. His fundamental rights are being violated by The Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar.

On the other hand, the apex court has asked the state of affairs to remain stable till Tuesday during the hearing on the upsurge in Karnataka on Friday. The top court has asked the speaker not to take a decision until further orders. The resignation and disqualification case will be heard on Tuesday. The apex court will also hear a petition filed by five other Karnataka rebel MLAs on the same day.
