Karnataka government to build a Rs 200 crore guest house, CM announces

The Karnataka government is going to build a new guest house of 200 crore rupees in Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh. This has been confirmed in an official address. The state revenue department said on Monday that the cabinet had approved a plan of Rs 26 crore in July last year.

The guest house complex planned last year in Karnataka State Poultry Farm will have 70 rooms covering 58,741.20 square feet of land covering about 150 pilgrims. The project will now make provision for 12 dormitories accommodating 140 pilgrims, 305 single rooms accommodating 610 pilgrims, 24 suite rooms, four double suite rooms, one Kalyana Manatapa, external parking space for cars and busses, new construction of roads, landscaping, and gardens. The statement further states that the construction project now covers a total of 322,545 square feet (or 7.05 acres) of areas.

According to data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 28,498 new cases have been reported in the last one day and 553 people have died. After this, the total number of Corona positive cases in India has increased to 9,06,752. Out of which 3,11,565 are active cases, 5,71,460 people have become healthy or have been discharged from the hospital and 23,727 people have died so far. Today 1916 in Andhra Pradesh, 543 in Odisha, 98 new cases have been reported in Rajasthan. The worries of governments have increased due to the ever-increasing transition. Many states have also started imposing lockdown.
