Bengaluru: Today, Senior IAS officer Subhash Chandra Khuntia appointed as the state's Chief Secretary by the Karnataka government.
As per the government notification, “Khuntia will take the charges of Arvind Jadhav, who will be retiring from service on superannuation.”
Khuntia is a 1981-batch officer and has been appointed on repatriation from central deputation. Government appointed Jadhav, a 1978-batch IAS officer, as Chief Secretary on December 31, 2015. An officer was retired in june but was given an extension of three months.
