Bangalore: Hindu shopkeepers from Karnataka have come out in solidarity in the brutal murder of Hindu tailor Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur, Rajasthan. In the same order, on Thursday (June 30, 2022), Hindu shopkeepers in Mysore launched a poster campaign to show solidarity with the deceased Kanhaiyalal and to protest against his killing.

In fact, Kanhaiyalal was brutally murdered by fundamentalists citing the erroneous sharing of posts on social media by Kanhaiya's 8-year-old son in support of his statement on Prophet Muhammad by former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. According to the report, the posters that are being held in their hands by Hindu shopkeepers in Karnataka are protesting with the words, "I will not speak the truth, I will not stand in support of those who speak the truth, I am poor, my family is dependent on me, don't kill us."

Earlier, there was also a demonstration at Delhi's Jantar Mantar against the killing of Kanhaiyalal by Hindus. Many of these protesters were also arrested by the Delhi Police, who took them to the police station in DTC buses. Apart from the protest at Jantar Mantar, several other Hindu organisations protested at various places against the massacre.
