Karnataka lawyer files case against Kangana Ranaut, know why?

A complaint has been filed against actress Kangana Ranaut in Belagavi district of North Karnataka. Belagavi's lawyer Harshvardhan Patil files a complaint and accused Kangana that she had tweeted the agitating farmers as terrorists. Kangana is accused of trying to create animosity among the community.

According to reports, Belagavi Police Commissioner K Thiagarajan confirmed the news saying that a case has been registered. However, no FIR has been filed yet. The commissioner said that we will investigate further on the basis of the complaint. Kangana tweeted on September 21 last year. In which it was written, 'People spread misinformation and rumors about CAA, which led to riots and now the same people are spreading misinformation about farmers bill and creating terror in the country, they are terrorists'.

According to media reports, on October 10, 2020, a court in Karnataka was issued an order to the police to register a case against Kangana Ranaut for tweeting on farmers opposing agricultural laws. The court issued this order after advocate Ramesh Naik made a personal complaint. Talking about the work front, Kangana is busy shooting her movie 'Dhakad' these days. Apart from this, her name is also associated with the movie 'Tejas' in which she is going to be seen in the role of a female Air Force pilot. Earlier, she announced her film Manikarnika - The Queen of Jhansi released in 2019 as a franchise in which she will bring the next film 'Manikarnika Returns - The Legend of Didda'.
