Bangalore: In Shivamogga, Karnataka, a man has been accused of giving Triple Talaq to his wife. Police has registered an FIR against the accused husband on the complaint of the wife in this case. The accused husband lives in Dubai and from there he gave his wife Triple Talaq on WhatsApp. The marriage of the victim Ayesha and Mustafa took place 20 years ago. After marriage, Mustafa moved to Dubai in search of work and Ayesha remained in India.

It is reported that Mustafa forced her to have an abortion when Ayesha became pregnant, but when she could not conceive, she adopted a girl. Ayesha says that Mustafa met her in January 2019 and both were happy. Recently, when Ayesha asks for some money from him, Mustafa asks Ayesha to give up the adopted daughter. After this, Mustafa sent a Triple Talaq message on WhatsApp on August 28. After this step of Mustafa, Ayesha has now decided to seek legal recourse.

Ayesha said that I do not approve of this divorce. I have registered a case. I have demanded justice. The police said they could do nothing because my husband lives in Dubai. But I want that I get justice. Ayesha has registered a case against Mustafa at the police station. This is the third such episode in Karnataka in which the husband has given three divorces to the wife since the new law of triple talaq was enacted.
