Bangalore: The hijab controversy in Karnataka is not taking the name of ending even after the High Court's verdict. In Karnataka, Muslim girl students are continuously protesting against the ban on hijab in colleges. Meanwhile, Muslim organisations in Karnataka are gearing up to open new private colleges in the southern districts of the state. An application has been filed on his behalf to open 13 new private colleges. It has also been said that there will be no restriction on hijab for girl students in these colleges.

At the same time, it has also been revealed that such a large number of applications for opening private colleges were never given by Muslims before. Talking about the last five years, no application was made by him to open a single private college during this period. At the same time, the assembly elections in Karnataka are also proposed for next year i.e. in 2023. In such a situation, experts of this case say that when the new colleges open, the hijab dispute in the state will deepen further.

Let us know that in all the government educational institutions of Karnataka, there is a ban on the wearing of hijab of the girl students. The matter also went to the Supreme Court and due to this ban, a large number of girl students skipped their examinations. However, the Karnataka High Court, while ruling the matter, has clearly said that while wearing any kind of religious clothes is not allowed in educational institutions, the Muslim community is not accepting the decision. The community has filed an application in the Supreme Court.
