New Delhi: Friday could be a big day for Karnataka's Congress-JDS coalition government. The Supreme Court will hear today a petition filed by 10 rebel MLAs. The Monsoon session of the Karnataka Assembly will also begin today. On the other hand, 10 rebel MLAs who were staying in Mumbai met Speaker Ramesh Kumar in Bengaluru on Thursday evening following the direction of the apex court. After that, they have all returned to Mumbai.

In Karnataka, 10 rebel MLAs had visited Bengaluru on Thursday following the direction of the top court and met Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar. The Apex Court had asked everyone to share their information on their resignation. All the rebel MLAs have returned to Mumbai late Thursday night. All THE MLA's are staying at the Renews Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel. The apex court will again hear the petition filed by the rebel MLAs today.

With the resignation of Congress and JDS MLAs, the coalition government in Karnataka is in trouble and the government does not have enough members to prove its majority in the Assembly. Kumaraswamy, the cm of the province, is in danger of going to the chair.
