How to make a spicy pickle of Karonde -


material -
Karonde - 200 grams
Mustard oil - 1/3 cup
Asafoetida - half of 1/4 teaspoon
Turmeric powder - 1 small spoon
Fennel - 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Parsley - 1 teaspoon
Methi seeds - 2 tsp
Yellow mustard - 3 tsp
Red chili - 1 tsp
Salt - as per taste

Method of preparation - If you want to make a pickle of whole karaonde, do not cut the karaonde for this, wash the karaonde thoroughly and dry it in water. Now fill so much water in a vessel to keep it boiling so that it sinks well in water. Now after the water boils, add the karaonde into the water and after that cover the karand and let it boil for 3 minutes. Now take out the balls in the sieve, and drain all the water. Now put oil in the pan and heat it; the oil has to be heated till it fumes. Now turn off the gas and let the oil cool down a bit. Now after that add asafoetida and turmeric powder to the oil and also add karonde. Now add ground spices and red chili and mix. Karonde pickle is ready Take it out to eat after 3-4 days.
