Chandigarh: Pakistan is going to provide a big facility to the devotees of Kartarpur Sahib. Pakistan is very active these days regarding Kartarpur Sahib. The Government of Pakistan announced that free bus services will be provided to the pilgrims coming to the gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib via Kartarpur Corridor to pay obeisance. There is a four and a half kilometre route between Dera Baba Nanak to Gurdwara Kartarpur.

Buses will be parked at a distance of 200 meters from where the route to the Kartarpur Corridor of the Indian border will take the devotees to the Gurdwara Sahib. Passengers who want to walk will not be forced to sit on the bus. The Akaf Board (ETPB), the organization that manages the Pakistan-based Gurdwara Sahib, will look after the arrangements for food, residence and medical facilities for all the pilgrims coming to visit.

The ETPB estimates that Rs 10 lakh will be required to anchor five thousand pilgrims daily. The Government of Pakistan has decided to hand over security within the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib to the security guards of ETPB. This information has been given by ETPB member and member of Pakistan National Assembly in a meeting held in Lahore.  Kartarpur Sahib is considered very sacred in the Sikh community.
