DMK chief M. Karunanidhi took his last breath on Tuesday. He was admitted to the hospital on July 28 due to drop in his blood pressure. His health condition became extremely critical and he was in maximum medical support but at last, he said goodbye to us on Tuesday’s night at the age of 94 in Kauvery Hospital.

According to ANI, His fans and DMK workers broke down outside the hospital after the release of statement about his death.

He made his political entry at the age of 14 and served for more than 60 years in the Indian politics. he holds the record for never losing an election. He has been elected for MLA the record 12 times and served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for Five times.

He started his career as a screenwriter and work for many Tamil movies. His first film as a screenwriter was Rajakumaari which gained him lots of popularity. He has also written many books which include Thirukkal Urai, Thenpandi Singham, Sanga Thamizh, Iniyavi Irubathu, vallikizhami, Romapuri Pandian and Kuraloviam. He has also written the screenplay of American film Ellis Dungan’s. In 1997. A film was made on his relationship with MGR.

India has lost a very great personality today as his contribution to Indian politics is significant. may his soul rest in peace.
