Charvi Saraf tried to get Coronavirus test done in Delhi, for this she also contacted several doctors in Delhi hospitals, but due to lack of test kit for Coronavirus, she has not been tested. The actress wrote an open letter, in which she has told that "Last week I started feeling restless, my body temperature kept dropping and rising. I had high fever, body ache, shortness of breath, sore throat, headache etc".
"I started getting nervous due to fear that I am suffering from Corona virus. The first thing that came to my mind was that I should get myself tested. I made a few calls to the doctors who had been treating me for years, saying that he did not have coronavirus test kits. After this, I called some private people in the nearby government hospitals and said that this facility is not available. I wanted someone to come here and test me. Because I was not in a condition to go to the hospital myself. I also contacted the Covid 19 helpline".
"I was so desperate that five days have passed but test was not done. Meanwhile, the symptoms of Corona virus have started showing in me in the meantime. These days the government is consistently claiming to have adequate test kits. But now I think all these are just rumours. I do not understand how the Delhi government will help the people after such an issue. People who have symptoms of coronavirus also do not want to come out and tell themselves. That's because we know the situation. Is the government really interested in treating these people?"
