The addition of Sajid Khan to the 16th season of Bigg Boss as a contestant has angered both viewers and the general public. Sajid made his first public appearance since the sexual harassment allegations made against him during India's MeToo movement in 2018 on the show's opening episode, which aired on Saturday. He was introduced as the show's final contestant.

Kashmera Shah sent him a message of support following his arrival despite the fact that he refused to address the controversy. "I just watched #BiggBoss on @justvoot and must say I loved the lineup," the user wrote. There are a few early favorites, but I have to admit that #SajidKhan's openness and sincerity warmed my heart. I look forward to seeing him receive more wise counsel from his sister, #farahkhan, at the upcoming Colors Television reality competition, she tweeted. Her tweet was met with criticism from the show's viewers who referred to her as a fake feminist.

A few people also dug up an old video of Kashmera beating up Karan Kundrra for being possessive of his girlfriend Tejaswi Prakash when she was a guest on Bigg Boss 15 as well. Shakal dekhi hai (Have you even seen your face), she asked him. Fans recognized this line and the phrase "Kashmera Shakal Dekh Apni" began to trend on Twitter.

Twitter user: "The purpose of the trend is to show the hypocrisy when she talked about feminism in the show last year but now openly supports a man being accused of molestation by 9+ women. like seriously why such double (standards)?" It's important to call out certain individuals and things. You are known for being a hypocrite and a pseudo feminist, according to someone else. Women who behave in such a way as @kashmerashah are a disgrace to the gender. This is the female feminist who joined the movement for personal gain. The welfare of women has no meaning to them. They can even give a man who is accused of nine #Metoo allegations praise in exchange for payment, said one commenter.

During the Indian MeToo movement, Sajid was accused of molesting and raping nine women. For his film Housefull 4, it led to his dismissal and a one-year suspension from the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association.

Sajid recently made a comeback as a filmmaker with the release of his film 100%, which features John Abraham and Shehnaaz Gill.
