Srinagar: On Saturday, two Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) militants were detained as they were involved in an assault , which killed two army officials and a cop, from Baramulla district of Kashmir.
As per the senior police official , "Two persons who were part of terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad module in Baramulla have been arrested”.
Safeer Ahmad Bhat and Farhaan Fayaz are the accused, who were arrested.
The official added, "These individuals were part of JeM terror module - operating in Baramulla and adjoining areas - headed by a Pakistani terrorist Khalid. This module was involved in the attack on security forces on August 16 in which two armymen and a cop were killed at Khwajabagh in Baramulla".
