Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government has declared as the state had Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh canceled the Act, in order to restore normalcy in Kashmir. The Concord Citizens Group, headed by former finance minister Yashwant Sinha, said this in his report released on Tuesday. The CCG said that in September and November, he visited Kashmir and interacted with people of different classes. To remove the fear and doubt that arose in the minds of the people after 5 August, the Center should start talks with Kashmiris at various levels. In the 19-page report, the Center has requested that all Kashmiris detained under the Public Security Act should be released.
