At the tender age of 12, inspired by the works of legendary poets such as Meer, Ghalib, and Iqbal, Shahid Shabir began to weave his own poetic tapestry. Poetry became his refuge during tumultuous times, as battles with depression and anxiety left him feeling isolated and alone, disconnected from friends and loved ones.

Yet, from this darkness emerged a beacon of creativity. Shahid Shabir found that his over thinking and introversion fueled his writing, allowing him to pour his heart onto the page, capturing the essence of his experiences.

“The journey to publishing his first book was both daunting and exhilarating. When the moment finally arrived, the sense of accomplishment was overwhelming. Not only did it mark a milestone in my personal growth, but it also brought newfound recognition within the community. The response from family and friends was overwhelmingly positive. Their support and encouragement served as a driving force. Their validation not only boosted my confidence but also inspired others in the community to pursue their own creative aspirations.” Says the author Shahid Shabir.

Through his poetry, Shahid Shabir not only found healing but also became a source of inspiration for those around him. His story serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is light to be found in the beauty of words.

“It was a great experience for my team working with Shahid, he has lot of patience and potential” says Faheem Bhat CEO of lieper publication
