OCD, for me, has forced me to come up with creative measures to dilute the pain and fear I feel on a regular basis. Writing being one of them, I usually jot my dark thoughts down whenever I feel bad.
What has this experience of publishing your book and being praised for it? Has it changed anything in your life?
Yes, the experience of being praised for it made me feel... happy, I suppose. Or as close to happy as it can get for someone who believes nobody can ever achieve true happiness.
What is the advice you will give to this generation?
The only advice I will give to this generation is to value every source of happiness and joy in your life. You never know the true worth of anything you have until you lose it.
