PhantomLance spyware was available on these platforms
Hackers made PhantomLance spyware available on Google Play Store and APK Pure to steal more and more users' data. Along with this, the hackers also created a separate fake GitHub to win the trust of the users.

Hackers used to first upload apps without viruses to the Play Store to beat Google's filtering system. After this, viruses and malicious files were delivered to these apps through updates, so that users' data can be easily accessed.

Cybersecurity company Kaspersky says that PhantomLance spyware was created by hackers of the OceanLotus Group. However, now Google has removed it from its platform. On the other hand, experts have said that users should download mobile apps only after reading the review on Google Play Store.
